The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) is a parastatal of the Ministry of Petroleum Resources established by Decree 25 of 1973 for the purpose of developing and promoting petroleum technology and for creating the manpower needs of the oil and gas industry through research and training of Nigerians.

Graduate fellowships of $3,000, $2,500, or $2,000 will be available for 2012-2013, supported by endowment funds of the AACC International Foundation, and from annual contributions by companies and AACC Intl. divisions. Graduate awards are paid directly to the winners in September after AACC Intl. receives verification of registration for the fall semester or quarter from the appropriate department head.
